B.Ed Course Gets Go Ahead at SAC

31 March.

It’s for real. It’s just happened.

St Aloysius Institute of Education has been officially permitted by the NCTE to start B.Ed. course from THIS academic year.

It is great news to those who were waiting to start their course in Education.

Thanks to the Herculean efforts of Rev Frs. Francis Serrao (Rector), Prashant, Eugene, Celestine Sera, and the Director of B.Ed. Fr Leo Pereira. We owe a big thanks to our Friends who have slogged to make this dream come true!!!

Classes for BEd may have begun three months ago; but SAC has done all the ground work; it is not too late… for the hard workers…

Prof Rao Bids Audiu to the SAC Campus

Those fond memories of my Alma Mater… those many works happening at SAC… Prof Rao was very much impressed by the many good works taking place under the aegis of SAC, not only in the Campus, but also elsewhere like Ullal (Aloysian Boys Home), Harihar (St Aloysius Junior College), Beeri Post Graduate Project (Kotekar, near Ullal), and Mundgod where SAC has a lively presence in terms of its imput and student exposure programmes.

Fond Farewell to Prof Ramachandra Rao

30 Mar. Prof. Ramachandra Rao, our distinguished alumnus and internationally renowned scientist, left SAC for Bangalore, from where he will fly to Montreal.

Prof Rao, a research fellow at McGill University, came back to his Alma Mater in December 2006, after 35 years. He was keen to be a part of the SAC Campus. He stayed with the Jesuits of St Aloysius College, was a part and parcel of their lifestyle.

After the four month stay at SAC, the Jesuits bade him a fond farewell for being a part of the Institution.

SAC wishes Prof. Rao a very happy and safe journey. May his stay back in Canada be fruitful.
