The department of psychology had organized a psycho drama in the college auditorium on 12th of august at 4:15 p.m. The drama showed, how to apply the basic ideas of psychology in ones life. The students were divided in groups and they gave a good performance. Ms. Shalini Ayyappa the H.O.D of the psychology department and Ms. Wilma staff of psychology were present on the occasion.

On 11.09.07, the Kannada Sangha organized a talk on YAKSHAGAANA followed by a documentary movie. Dr N. Damodhar Shetty the president of the association gave a brief introduction to the art of YAKSHAGAANA.
All the members of Kannada Sangha were present, DR. Saraswathi and Mr. Nithin N K, the lecturers of Kannada Department were also present. Prof. A .Loudusamy and Ms. Supriya were present on the occasion.

Hindi Sangh organized a mad ads competition on Monday, the 10th of august at 4 : 10 pm in the college auditorium. The judges were Prof.M.L.Sureshnath and Ms.Renita D’souza. Chaithra a student of II year welcomed the gathering. The president of the association Ms. Qudsiya Begum and Mr. Vinod T.R were present on the occasion.

Al-Madhyam the Media Forum of the college conducted a presentation on Using Adobe PageMaker effectively on 6 September 2007 at 4:15 PM in the Journalism studio. Dhanusha Gokulan of III BA conducted the talk. She elucidated on the techniques and methods of dealing with Adobe PageMaker.
She used the aid of LCD projection and gave suitable examples to send her talk home. She had an interactive session to clear doubts. The President Ms Soumya B.C. and Ms Nirmala were present.The credit members of the association as well as other interested candidates attended enthusiastically.

The Quiz Association conducted a Special Quiz for the Teacher’s Day on September 5, 2007 at 4.15p.m in the Teletorium. There were 13 teams who had registered for the quiz. The preliminary rounds were conducted in a BBM classroom, where each team was given a questionnaire containing ten questions.
Ultimately five teams made it to the final round of the quiz. The names of the five groups were Goofy, Daffy, Mickey, Tweety and Donald. Six fun filled exciting rounds like Mixed Bag, Visual Round, Know Your College, Audio Round, As You like It and Rapid Fire were conducted. After the sixth round Mr. Charles Furtado & team emerged as the first place winners, followed by Mr. Manoj Lewis & team & the third place was bagged by Ms Smitha Jesudasan.
The three winning teams were felicitated with mementos & chocolates. The other winning teams were also given chocolates as a consolation prize for their enthusiastic participation. All the teachers were felicitated with a rose each as a token of love and appreciation. The audience was not left out, with exciting rounds being conducted for them as well and winners being offered prizes.

The CLC conducted a Marian singing competition on September 3, 2007 at 4:15 PM in the Auditorium. The competition was held in the honor of the upcoming Feast of the Nativity of Mary and following the tradition the theme was Marian songs.
Seven groups participated in the competition. The judges for the competition were Rev. Fr. Walter Albuquerque and Brother Maxim Dias. The President of the association Mr. Lawrence Pinto was present. The competition was received well and had a good turnout.

Astro Club held its talk for its members on the 3rd September 2007 at 4:15 PM in the Xavier Block (X601).Vinayak; a student of II PEM gave a talk on ‘Introduction to Ancient Astronomy’. He elaborated on topics like Aristotle’s Model and touched upon other topics like Helio-centric theory and geo-centric theory.
Every Monday the association conducts a meeting where the members are encouraged to come up with innovative ideas like organizing talks, screening movies, power presentations etc. The President of the association Mr. Narayan Bhat and Ms Sunitha were present.
