The St. Aloysius College, MSW Department organized a one day Forum Seminar on “Emerging Trends and Challenges in Counseling” on the 3rd of March at the College Auditorium.
Administrator of Father Mulllers’s Medical College Rev Fr Dennis D’Sa was the chief guest for the inauguration. Rev Fr Leo D’Souza SJ delivered the presidential address. Principal SAC, Rev Fr Swebert D’Silva SJ was also present on the dais.
The forum had 4 seminars on topics like “Counceling for Child and Adolesecent Well Being” by Rameela Shekar, HOD MPSW Dept, School of Social Work, Mangalore. “Building effective families through counseling”: Dr Binu Thomas, Consultant Family Psychiatry Centre, NIMHANS “Current Issuesand Challenges in Counseling” by Dr Elizabeth Daniel, Clinical Psychologist, KMC “Develpoment of Professional Self as a Counselor” by Ms. Sandhya Rasquinha, Councelor, St Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore.Each Seminar was followed by a meaningful Discussion.
Rev. Fr Francis D’Almeida SJ was the chief guest for the valedictory function.

I wanted to share with you a AMAZING site I just came across teaching Krav Maga For All Levels If you guys have seen the Discovery Channel TV Show called Fight Quest you would have seen their chief instructor Ran Nakash there. Anyways, I think it’s worth a look. I’ve been a member for the last 4 months, and I’ve been loving every momen of it.
