The Elections for the Student’s council for this academic year was held on 27 June 2009.

The event began with the Election Commissioner Dr. Norbert Lobo addressing the gathering of students. The College building’s lofty floors served as the natural podium for all the election related announcements.

Each of the candidates then spoke of their intentions,  aspirations, and promises (manifesto)  if voted to power. The candidates for the

post of President were Darryl Gerald D’Souza and Prewan  Savio Mascarenhas. The five contenders for the post of secretary were Heeral Blen D’Cunha, Jeeth Stallion Lobo, Lynel Jason Lobo, Nichola Nancy Pereira and Roydon D’Souza. Ms Daphny D’Souza and Ms Pruthvi D’Souza contested for the post of Joint – Secretary.

Sun or rain... it's all a part of their student life... if this one is not used to the hilt, GOK when they would get a second chance!

The counting of the votes was held in the second floor classrooms of the Administrative Block. After five rounds of counting Daphny D’Souza, Jeeth Stallon Lobo and Darryl Gerald D’Souza were declared winners for the posts of Joint – Secretary, Secretary and president respectively.

Hearty congratulations to winners, and also all contestants.
