SARANG 107.8 FM to be Launched Soon

7 Sept. Community Radio SARANG 107.8 MHz, will be launched soon. As soon as in the last week of September. After a long trial run period, we will officially launch the radio at a public small-scale program. For now, community radio SARANG 107.8 FM is the only community radio station of south canara and Mangalore.

MCMS (Master of Communication and Media Studies) has been contributing substantially to SARANG 107.8FM – in fact the mass communication students, along with their juniors (B.A. journalism) are at the heart of Community Radio SARANG. Then the local communities around have been a part and parcel of this College venture.

While St Aloysius College students have done a good job of it, other college students and staff also been making it use of this forum to be in touch with the communities. Perhaps, SARANG is becoming a meeting ground for the local communities and  a prestigious institution like St Aloysius to encounter each other!
Keep following the updates.
