04 July. New semester for the new academic year is about to begin. Mass Communication & Media Studies students, who are in their long internship, will rejoin on 09 July 2012, Monday. The freshers -1st semester students- of MCMS (and other programs) will join on 16 July 2012.

29 Aug.Language is not just for communication, but also for life and many facets of life, said Dr Khurshid Alam Khan, Program Office, Central Sahitya Academy at its Mumbai Regional Office. He was giving the presidential address at the Konkani Symposium conducted by the Institute of Konkani, St Aloysius College Mangalore, on Konkani Novels and Novelists on 29 August, at Teletorium. CGS (Cyril Sequeira) compered the formal program.
22 Aug. Students of Mass Communication & Media Studies (MCMS) at St Aloysius College are on Television. After the Independence Day Patriotic songs by various school children, which won the MCMS students accolades, now it is their Campus Eye news bulletin.
Beginning from 22 August 2010, the Mass Communication (PG) students will be producing a weekly bulletin for V4Media News Channel. The bulletin is of 14 minutes.
The Post Graduate students of Media at St Aloysius College also will be producing various programs and films for the TV channel.
