23 Aug. NSS in coordination with ‘Citizen Forum’, ‘City Corporation of Mangalore’ and ‘Lions Club’.NSS students cleaned the College campus and dug pits for the plantation of plants. Later they went to the Forest office at Hampankatta.
They came in procession to the college. The slogan was “Keep Kudla Green”. The pragramme was to give awareness about tree plantation. The rally was to give awareness against deforestation and to make Mangalore green and fresh
Sri Ravi Raj from forest department gave the welcome speech. 
Fr.Leo D’Souza, inaugurated the programme by planting the first tree. 
Mr.Vijaya Kumar, Fr.Swebert D’Silva and others were the other dignitaries to plant trees. Mr. Chandrashekar proposed the vote of thanks.
